Next step after registration and paiying for your domain hosting on gator account you have to change your DNS records for DNS of domain hosting on gator.

You got something like this in one of the email:

Your name servers:
ns100.hostgator.com
ns101.hostgator.com

What you have to do now is to write to your registrar and ask him to change your DNS for those you got in the email. It is possible to change it on your own but somewhere you have to write an e-mail. It is better to write an e-mail to your registrar first to find out what to do and how to do that.

Thats it.

Registration is very simple. I will write it step-by-step for the case you would found any problem:

1. Go on Hostgator webpage (you can also use one of the banners) and click on Webhosting for your gator domain hosting.
2. Choose which server you want to use Linux or Windows and choose one of three tarifs – I recomment combination Linux + tarif Baby, click on Order now.
3. Choose if you want to register new domain or you already have one (it will be set as a primary domain)
4. Select your billing cycle – 1 month, 6 months, 12 months etc. – and insert coupon (I will try to write actual coupon here, actual is Beach, they are always on the webpage of Hostgator and it will safe you a lot of money for domain hosting – up to 20%!), click on Calculate totals.
5. Choose if you are new user or you want to add this order to your current account, click on Continue.
6. Fill informations about you, fill your account name and password and choose if you want to pay by credit card or Paypal.
7. That’s it! Good luck!

After all this, two e-mails will come to your e-mail from Hostgator domain hosting, there will be billing information in one of them and in the other one there will be very important information thanks to which you will be able to manage your account. I will write about it in the next article.
