Next step will be adding domain to the cPanel a it’s administration.
We have to firstly log in to the cPanel. You had to get e-mail with informations like:
Your Domain: test.cz
Your Username: name_of_account
Your Password: password
Your sites IP address: 10.11.12.134Until your DNS has changed over to our nameservers, you can access your
cPanel at: http://10.11.12.134/cpanel
Type in a browser http://10.11.12.134/cpanel, write name: name_of_account a password: password.
For adding your domains to the Hosting gator go to Addon Domains (just to remind you, you have to have your DNS changed / see previous article ). Write to the array “New Domain Name:“ your domain name, “Username/directory/subdomain Name:” will be filled automatically – I suggest to don’t change it – and to the “Password:” write your password which you will use to access FTP and other administration with this domain in cPanel. Then click on Add domain!. You can also set if you want to redirect your domain, you can cancel it and remove your domain from cPanel.
So now you added your domain to the cPanel and you can administrate it and full it with content. You can login to the FTP to your domain (for example over Total Commander). As host write IP 10.11.12.134, as name write domain_name (without .com, .net etc.)@primary_domain (with .com, .net etc.). So if your primary domain is test.com and you want to add domain rak.net, your name will be look like this: rak@test.com, as a password write password, which you wrote when you added domains to the cPanel.
So that would be it for adding domains to the cPanel.
